I would like to propose that when someone sends out an SOS to be saved from an attack that the damage already dealt to the attacker is carried over for the rescuer to continue, rather than being reset to full health.
Without this in place if someone tries to rescue a realm mate from a far stronger foe the battle will always have the same outcome ......loss
If however the damage inflicted carried over its possible than even a weaker rescuer could tip the balance and save his colleague.
Your suggestions contribute to make this game better.

This would have both positive and negative impacts throughout the game, but I believe the positive impacts are much more significant than the negative impacts. It means that combat is NEVER a sure thing (at least for all but one of the players).
